Velvet Obsidian is rare variety of volcanic glass with iridescent banding and flash across its surface. This material is similar to traditional rainbow obsidian as it can present a wide spectrum of colors. This current batch (2026) we have in stock, has primarily green silky "velvety" flash with some pink/purple on select pieces. This material is in tumbling size and typically more color/bands are revealed during the later stages.
