Quite the wide variety of colors and textures. And I figured 3 pounds of rocks would fill my 3 pound tumbler. Actually, it was too many rocks. I had to leave quite a few out for next time. (I only fill to between half and two-thirds, but this was more rocks than would fit for that. National Geographic "pro" tumbler.) Not to worry, I've lots of odds and ends of rocks by now to put them in with....for another time.
I'm going to post two pictures. One is of the rocks after I got them. I sorted them into groups by color or type as best I could. (I'm NOT good at identifying raw rocks....and some of these would have been strangers to me even as polished rocks.) The second picture is AFTER the first grit, and they're WET. They turned out to be quite pretty, lots of character, too. It's SO much fun seeing what the raw lumps turn into.
These gems are stunning, thanks again. If ever you want to sell the broken Bahias let me know
