Rainbow Obsidian | Lapidary Rough

These Extra Large Rainbow Obsidian pieces are designed specifically for Lapidary/Slabbing work. It can also be cut down with a trim saw into smaller pieces for tumbling. It's a very unique material made up of volcanic glass that quickly cooled, composed of other minerals to create the vibrant inclusions of color: purple, green, yellow, which are perfect for rock enthusiasts. 

The photos are representative of the stones you will receive and are shown wet to give you a better idea of the color and how the rocks will look once polished.

Note: the raw form of these stones will have a white "film" due to how the material was mined against the host rock. Also, there may be some iron staining on some of the pieces as well. When wet, the color is noticeable.
