This vibrant and unique material is perfect for lapidary work - While a popular piece for a sphere, it's not uncommon for cabochons to be crafted from slabs. The materials is dense and can be manipulated via saw very well and, if broken down, would tumble and polish beautifully. Colors range from white, red, orange, blue, pink and gray.
Other common trade names for this item are "Cosmic Jasper" or "Galactic Jasper". While it takes a polish very well, the composition is orbicular rhyolite.
