These ceramic media pellets are perfect for filling small gaps in rock tumbling barrels (rotary or vibratory tumblers). They can be reused from stage 1 to stage 4 (unlike plastic pellets) as long as they are thoroughly rinsed between stages.
Unless you're tumbling very soft material, the ceramic media is not necessary until stage 2.
