The Amethyst was a good size and quality. The price was simply too high, since the same quality (or better) was had for a lower price per ounce elsewhere.
Amethyst is one of my favorite stone/gems. I'm new to rock tumbling and have waited on purchasing A Grade stones until I've had some successes. This order was full of beautiful stones. Not only were the stones substantial in size but also came in several different shapes that are tumbling down to unique pieces.
