Fire Agate | Tumbling Rough

Fire Agate is a beautiful variety of chalcedony with chances of "fire-like" iridescent flashes. Sometimes this flash is visible on the surface but typically is revealed through polishing. Similar to Moss Agate, most of these pieces won't have traditional banding. Use the dropdown to select either 1 piece, 1/2 LB, 1 LB or 3 LBs of rough Fire Agate.

The photos are representative of the stones you will receive and are shown wet to give you a better idea of the color and how the rocks will look once polished.

X-Small:
• Average size of these stones is 0.5" to 1" inches. 
• Approximately 100 - 125 pieces per pound

Small:
• Average size of these stones is 0.5" to 1.25" inches.
• Approximately 55 - 65 pieces per pound
Medium:
• Average size of these stones is 1" to 2" inches.
• Approximately 9 - 11 pieces per pound
Large:
• Average size of these stones is 2" to 3" inches.
• Approximately 3 - 4 pieces per pound

Note: The "X-Small pieces are quite a bit smaller than our "small" size and carry about 50% host rock. They are great for small tumbling, home decor or micro polishing. Feel free to request additional pictures if needed.
